“So good we came back for more! Haven’t just dropped in to unbooked accommodation in a very long time. So glad we found this place in Kilkenny. It’s pretty special with a wonderful friendly couple operating it to high professional standards.

We stayed in an elegant room and enjoyed a superb Irish breakfast – beyond expectation. We spent a few minutes in the lovely guest sitting room having a quiet read. We really appreciated the simple elegance (I have to say that again!) and ambiance.

We came back from a day trip and stayed a second (unplanned) night as it was just too nice an experience not to have again.”

“Perfect in every way. We arrived to be greeted by the warm and welcoming Rhoda, what a lovely lady, she gave us lots of information about Kilkenny including places to see and places for dinner.The Guest house is absolutely beautiful. Our room was bright and really lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom so clean and fresh. Breakfast was delicious and there was loads of choice. I would definitely go back if we are lucky enough to visit Kilkenny again. We had such a lovely stay.”

“Great Stay. It is a bit out of Kilkenny but we easily walked into town (we are pretty fit). We found Rosquil House very convenient especially as there was parking for the car. The hosts were delightful and breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The room was very nice and there was a very pleasant lounge area. Definitely recommend!”
